after he's won i try and clear up the rest but it takes ages.
He must thrash you if there's still a lot of balls left on the table when he's won. I've only played on a full sized table once, when I was about 14. I remember thinking 'this is fucking massive' whilst holding a rest that was twice my height.

Keynsham is your best bet. About 20 tables, 8 american pool tables and some proper pool tables as well. Think it;s £2 to sign in as a non member, about £20 a year for membership. It's about a fiver an hour to play. Randomly, they close at 6pm on a Saturday. In Bath itself there is Widecombe social club, only 1 table there and you need to be a member. There are also 2 tables in the Harrington Club, a quality "gentlemans club". Membership is expensive at around £80 per year but the 2 tables run on meters and it's £1 for about 35 minutes. no jeans and and no women (except behind the bar). I think there are still 2 tables at the Sulis club near the Uni. Failing all of the above, if you fancy venturing as far as Trowbridge, there is Steven Lee's club there, not that I've ever been.
