Right, I'm going on a rant....

the game was shit, we were shit, they were shit, the ref was shit the linesman was shit, their drum was shit.

Very few players can take anything out of that as alot of them were piss poor.

Phil Smith - I've stuck up for him but their first goal was all down to him, came for it and go no where near it. If you arent going to get the ball stay on your line, He's had it and its time for a long spell in the stiffs, Brez in next week - 0

Jack Smith - Did alright, works well with JPM good footballer - 4

Hasney Aljofree - No idea what happened but he went off injured - 0

Sean Morrison - What the fuck was he playing at for the second goal, put his hand and stopped. Thats a school boy error, play to the whistle. How he got man of the match is anyones guess. I'd actually fine him a weeks wages for such a poor poor error - 0

Jerel Ifil - Could and probably should have stopped the first and third goal. Poor distribution and got torn a new arsehole by Luke Rodgers - 0

Callum Kennedy - Did alright, some good balls some mistakes - 3

JP McGovern - Played very well in spells and not so well in others, final ball was erractive but if we were going to create anything it looked like it might come from him. Missed his goal was talking to Adje and Tails - 5

Craig Easton - Did ok but I thought as a whole our midfield was totally shown up. Not enough battle in there, some nice passes. Should have had a goal - 3

Michael Timlin - Ace free kick but similiar to Easton - 4

Anthony McNamee - Did he do anything, wow he can do step overs. I've never seen a player do so many step overs and get no where with them. No competition for his place and I'd rather see Macklin out there - 0

Lee Peacock - Did he play? didnt notice. Striker my arse - 0

Simon Cox - Going in January? no chance, shit. Drops waay too deep and should have had a hat trick today.  Missed some right easy chance - 0

Now more of a rant.

Right, Mr. Fitton I am forever greatful for you saving our club but that boat has well and truely sailed. Sort it the fuck out.

I dont give a fuck what you've done in the past but you have ballsed this management appointed up 100%. I dont give a flying fuck about your love for the youth team, I dont give a fuck if you think agents are lying cunting scum who you wont deal with. I dont care if a team what a stupidly large amount of comenstation. Bite the bullet and get us a damn manager. We need one and we need him 3 weeks ago.

We need a manager, not an academy director or an ex player. We need a fucking manager, one who has been there and done that. We need a man who will unite our troops and take them to fucking war. This is no time for gambles and inexperiences managers.

We're in a relegation fight now, no doubt about it. First time I've said it but we are in trouble. Last season we were 10th so we could afford a gamble on a manager because it wouldnt matter if we dropped a few places. Now a few places is the different between League One and League Two.

Also, if the whole process has really started again because other applicants have applied, then so what? If the closing date for a job was the 15th no normal business would accept an application sent in on the 19th!!!

We have to have a manager in by Monday. No later, nothing less. Pick a man and go get him. We have to have a new manager in Monday to take training to pick his time before the Leyton Orient game. The next two games are vitally important. Anything less than 6 points and we are fucked.

Different owners but still the same old shambles, somehow we always come out looking like a complete and utter laughing stock. I dont care what Fitton has done in the past but he isnt doing a good job here.

I'm going to stop now before I go on about the sacking of Malpas!!!

Maybe I'll calm down and regret some of these comments but it has to be said.

Fitton, fucking sort it out now!

Although you're probably in a America!

Don't regret any of that DV. I'd say that's all pretty fucking spot on.

I did stop before I said sacking a manager after winning and drawing your last 3 league games was a bit wrong.....hindsight I suppose

...but...then would we have seriously been any worse off by now if Malpas was still here?!

Hindsight again I guess....

I did say to the guy next to me that Cox hasnt looked the same player since Malpas left. I wonder if thats just co-incidence, related to the team as whole being less creative, or the fact Malpas was a good attacking coach despite being a defender his whole career.

Got into the county pub it was empty...and still empty when i left at 2.50,went in the Arkells for a change...was nice to see a few younsters from the schools,at least they were having fun...i noticed a dozen Santas sat in the Nationwide, very glum not suprising really,2 down,to be fair Yeovils second was quality,we picked up abit when Aljofree was replaced by Morrison..i like Morrison he should be starting matches,Kennedy did ok.
Very one dimentional..Hooooooofing to Peacock,Mcmanee has gone so far backwards its unreal,Smiths kicking was poor and Cox didnt touch the ball for 30 mins,Timlins got abit of quality at times while JP is so frustrating to watch, one moment of class followed by rubbish..i heard a cheer as i got my coffee and thaught it was Half time but we were back in it...2-2!..on we go lets hammer them..Corr and Sturrock warming up,why wait to we go behind to use em...ive had enough,no body can tell me out of 50 applicants Money is the best man for the job..total bollox,
As i walked out of the ground i felt very sad...this great club of ours is in a right mess, the west country drawl of the yeovil fans were singing above the abuse of the home fans.
Ime not looking forward to Brighton,it could very embarasing....

Guys we have just been beaten by the worst team in the league, what the hell does that say for us.  First priority after getting a new manager has to be a midfield enforcer, we give the ball away far to aimlessly.

Morrison's throw would be a real weapon, but every single time it went to Peacock who Yeovil invariably had three men on. Would it hurt to chuck one at Ifil or McGovern perhaps?

That has summed up the situation pretty well, unfortunately Mr Fitton only has miself to blame for the sorry mess we are in. He had the perfect opportunity to get someone decent in when he took over. He then kept malpas in the job far to long , we then have to suffer Dave Byrne who is part of the problem under malpas. I am sorry we will always be in debt to mr F for bailing us out but  he has to be strong and act Monday get Danny Wilson, Ian Holloway, Ian Dowie on the phone offer one them the job because at the moment we look a sorry bedraggled disjointed outfit who are going down to Div 2.

I will probably now get slated for speaking out against our saviour but I am sorry the honeymoon period has worn off, it is time for Fitton to show us that he can do the same with a football club that he has with his business's because if we go down we can forget being in the Championsjip in 3 years or even 5.

As you can tell I pretty angry at what i have witnessed today and will probably have a more rational outlook on things in the morning.

It does seem in some quarters that Fitton is untouchable because he saved the club, £8m etc. He certainly didn't do that as some favour to the fans and if goes to plan he will make a profit from it. Therefore if he is likely to make a profit from us then he should be accountable and he made a mistake in appointing Malpas and has made a mistake in taking so long and we will continue to slide for a few weeks to come I would imagine.

I think Fitton is coming in for some unjustified stick here. He's not helped himself but doesn't deserve the stick he's getting. He was there today and must have felt like compromising his principles every one of the 90 minutes.
For the second home match running that was real relegation fodder from both teams. Yeovil were even worse than Carlisle and yet we managed to be even worse.
Phil Smith needs removing now - yet another flap and yet another goal. Every time he goes near the ball everyone has kittens. I'd get a loan keeper in. If Brez got back in we'd all be waiting for him to fuck up.
The defence collectively fucked up just about everything they touched. Every time Yeovil attacked they looked like scoring or should I say, we looked like conceding.
The midfield was a woeful mess. Easton was anonymous as he has been when he's played this season.
Even the attack today were shite. That has to be Cox's worse game for us.
Tactically we were shite, particularly when we were chasing the game.
I couldn't pick a MOM today althuogh I'd probably give it to Timlin
That was a complete crock of shit and a new manager will not be able to wave a magic wand over this bunch of useless, talentless ,apathetic cunts.

Luckily as I help with the pitch I do not have the expense of a season ticket. Today when the second goal went in I got up to go home. I was stopped as I have committed to help out and was reminded of that. At half time Brez was sat in the dugout with a face of desperation. I'm sure he was thinking 'How the hell am I not playing'.
