In reply to the other thread.

Taaaaaaaaaaylooooooooooorrrrrrr - last season was brilliant, this season shite (way too fast).

Used to love the Olé Olé Olé Olé , Swindon Town, Swindon Town.....

Eyes right skin back tight, get your knickers down - was also a favourite at the time.

All those pale into insignificance compaired to the old old "Dinkle Song" sung by the Townend and South Side (sorry Shrivvy) fnas back in the 83-85 seasons under Macari, The whole ground used to stop and listen and I remember the Scunthorpe fans actually applauding it at a fog ridden game in 84ish season.

Fantastic.

Steam! Steam! Steam Roller......(repeat as you surge forward knocking everyone over).

Gittens gonna get ya! (Repeat).

A lala lala Bamber!

Away in a manger.......etc etc...no cribb for a bed, the little lord jesus stood up and he said "We hate Oxford and we hate Oxford!".

I always like the 'You thought you had scored - you were wrong!' chant, went down very well at Elm park in the late eighties on boxing day when Reading had a perfectly good equaliser ruled out.....dem were the days...
