I'm going to be made redundant 1 week before Christmas.
I'll have 1 year 11 months and 2 weeks service behind me.
What can I expect in terms of a pay off?
I'm thinking in the region of fuck all am I right?

Sorry to hear that dude.

Yup, fuck all under 2 years service. I assume your actual redundancy date is 1 week before Christmas and not just the notification of intention of redundancy.

But during your notice period they should be supporting you in your search for a new job.

Yep, they have to give you reasonable time off for interviews etc.

Shit news fella, happened to me a few weeks ago, 6 years service though, working until Christmas then 3 months pay. Rather have my fucking job though.

Good luck.
