You can hire the RugDoctor (or something like that) from Homebase and Johnsons for about 20 quid IIRC. Or we've got a Bissell jobby you can borrow if you like, depending on how intense hertha's staining is. Actually the Bissell's pretty good, might be worth trying that first then use the hire one if no good.
