Someone on this is said he's in touch with a well known taxi firm who are going to pick someone up from the tyne and wear area... Has to be the most ridiculous thing I've heard on the new manager situation yet!

Why do you think he'll want another job straight away ?  - surely he can't need the money.

No, Keane's quit to take the Burton Albion job so Clough can go to Forest and Calderwood can go to Orient so Ling can go to Palace so Warnock can come here .... as director of football to advise whoever our next manager is going to be

I said in another thread that Keane had been acting weird recently and he'd be gone soon, I was right.

I reckon he is having some kind of mid-life crisis and a move to a smaller club like Swindon where there will be no pressure or expectations is exactly what he'll be looking for so he'll be appointed manager within the week.

No chance he will end up in Forest, hes been acting very weird for a number of weeks so I reckon he will be having a break from the game for a while now.

100% agree Edna!  If ever a man needs a break, it's Keane, now.

I doubt I'll ever see him in HMV Durham again... Or maybe I'll see him abit more? Who knows.

There'll lose loads of money, there is so much Keane/Sunderland/Ireland merchandise not to mention the scores of Irish folk who make the pilgrimage to the Stadium of Light because of Keane.

Keane had clearly lost interest in them ages ago.
