That's a bit poo. At least it's at home, if the weather is as shit as today then they might scrape something.

Swansea got stuffed by Havant and Waterlooville last season...don't think their raft of Spaniards will fancy Cambridgeshire in early Jan too much.

Didn't they play them twice? Or was that someone else they had a replay against?

I'm very happy my next door neighbour has to go to Cardiff in the next round, hope he gets a slapping.

Think they drew in the land of sheep abusers.

They did, with a last minute equaliser, then stuffed them 5-2 in the replay.

It does make our loss more bearable, not least because no-one will remember Histon beat us now (well apart from us) cos it'll all be about how they knocked Leeds out. Nice to see ITV's FA cup coverage budget doesn't extend to a lens cloth Roll Eyes

I thought ITV's coverage was very very poor, The sound, picture and commentary team were crap.

I am very happy to find out that Leeds got beat.  I can not wait to go to work in the morning.  All those fucking Leeds fans taking the piss.  NO MORE!!!  Now shall I make some Histon banners?

I've got a problem with just about all ITV sports coverage.  Their football coverage has almost always been ropey (although their Central TV coverage of what is now the Championship got the thumbs up from me in the 1990s).  They murdered Match of the Day, murdered Formula 1.

I'm no big fan either of the turgid Lineker, Hanson, Lawrenson, Shearer set up on Match of the Day now.  Needs freshening up urgently in my view.  But I'd take the BBC over ITV any day when it comes to football coverage.  (And I've no idea about Sky.  The idea that I should have to pay to watch football on television appauls me.)

By the way - looks like I'm on track to hit the 1,000 post mark some time around Christmas.  I plan to celebrate this milestone when I get there in style.

I hear some of you scoffing.  Joined April 2006 (after years on MOS), with an average of 1.01 posts per day.  I still frequent MOS from time to time, as it happens.  I'm not the most prolific poster, but I'm always there in the background.  I'll rarely win any prizes.  In short, I am the Swindon Town of the TEF.

I don't yet know, Reg.  I may go crazy and actually make it to a home game, for once.  (As I expected, this is a barren season for me, games wise.)

murdered Formula 1.

Not sure about that. They didn't just rise the bar over the BBC offering they sent it into orbit. Unfortunately the adverts and shit theme tune makes it seem worse than it is.

I agree they are extremely shit at football coverage, and think things like the boat race are sports. Boxing is OK, but the big names go to Sky for the £££. Oh and picture quality through Sky is crap.
