Just playing a bit of impromptu 5-aside down Southsea common, I whipped in a delicious low cross that bobbled, leapt up and caught the 'keeper (who's a tool) right in the mush. Priceless.
I used to live right opposite Southsea Common...3rd floor flat Clarence Parade.
Used to spend hours out there mainly playing frisbee and flying kites...the downside was in the proper hot summers we had in the 70's, the common would be a breeding ground for animal fleas, which jumped off dogs etc.
We then had an infestation in the flat, and had to get the place sprayed by the council.
Not nice...it did make me smile though, a wry sort of smile.
