It's safe to say that my not-so-intensive research is the only fact on any of these threads.

Tis good fun, as far as having a preference on who takes over, well, I stopped caring a long time ago. But whoever it will be will get my support (which to the new guy means absolutely nothing Cheesy)

It's a fantastic achievement of complete bollocks as per the TEF's motto. Now Rich can you do us a breakdown per poster both cumulatively and within each thread? I'd like to see some pie charts and pivot tables here.

I would, however I fear that I'd be very much up there in the upper echelons of rubbish.

I've decided not to back whichever manager comes in.

Join the queue and say hello to Bart for me, he's had his tent pitched in the STFC Conference room for well over a week now - armed with only a pitchfork awaiting anyone who isn't Holloway or Cotterill.

AF has considered all the options and has found the best man for the job...........Himself.

And his first decision is to register and play himself at centre forward after he sells Cox to Man City for £129 million (as Real Madrid turned down the offer for Iker Casilas)

Tisdale would be an ace appointment. Can't see it happening though.

Exeter are a tidy little club which have sorted themselves off and on the pitch during their conference stint. Obviously the Man U money helped.

He'd require a fair bit of compensation as I believe he's recently signed a fairly long contract. Could be wrong though.

He is on a two year rolling contract. From comments made by the Portsmouth chairman recently, paying the value of the remainder of their contract is standard as compensation when managers leave - so Swindon would have to pay Exeter double his annual salary.

In 2005 the average Division Two manager salary was £55k (overall range was £0k to £100k), so at best I'd guess at him earning £100k which means he'd cost Swindon £200k which isn't much in the grand scheme of things.

No matter what Exeter City might say or do, if Tisdale wants the job and is offered it they won't be able to stop him.

Lings not really that much of a legend is he?

Sure he was part of a legendary team made up of some proper legendary players but Ling?! I dunno. He had some right shockers

Maybe legendary was the wrong choice. How aboiut 'highly regarded'?

AF saying there is a name on the list of potential managers that has not been mentioned yet - I give you Fred Elliott!
