I dont think a 2-2 draw against a team that had 1 shot on target is a deserved result.

Get Byrne out FFS, point per game is relegation form
Could be worse Bart, we could have appointed Allen (one of the many you reckoned would fall into "got to be better than Malpas" envelope IIRC).

Gone to Cheltenham on a months loan- Reckon Allen will have them firing up the league in no time

Do not see anyone disagreeing though. With some decent signings and Allen joining they will be mid table in no time

pah, we played well and played better than p'boro who are fifth in the league and our fans are still moaning on the radio....

For once I agree with DV in a way. Peterboro' kept the ball well, we didn't, but on the whole I though we looked more likely to score.

At least the  goals against us were of quality. Ye the possible hand ball was missed but the ball in was superb. McGovern didn't have much chance. And whilst Nalis shouldn't have given away the throw in the second goal was quality.

Our first goal was excellent too, but I though the second was offside. Maybe it went to Cox from a defender?

I was a little disappointed with our 3 P's tonight, Paynter, Pook and Peacock - though the latter did a little better up front.

Frustrating to have been close to a win again, but it's not a bad result. We need a few wins though!

Draw seemed a fair result tonight for me.  We had a couple of good chances and they bossed the midfield.  Peacock and Pook were cumbersome, gave them too much room and generally looked frightened to get on the ball, probably a game for someone like Nalis to start on reflection because it wasn't really a battling midfield they had.

Paynter looked well off the pace as well.

Our 2nd goal will be worth watching again.  I can sympathise with their reaction because I failed to celebrate at first, assuming the linseman was about to put the flag up.

Thought J Smith had a blinder until he allowed himself to be easily turned for their 2nd goal, but even after that you still can't do an awful lot about the strike.  9 times out of 10 it goes wide or over or at the keeper.

Thought their front 2 looked good, which is no suprise, but they didn't release them enough.

Fair enough. Fitton's comments suggest, to me, that he'll certainly be in charge for Walsall.

Dissapointed we resorted to hoofing. Had we kept up our passing game we would have won that, Peterborough were pretty terrible considering they're 5th in the league. Second half we were pretty crap as well so overall a point was pretty fair.

Paynter's worst performance so far this season as well.

An average game of football with the right result. I don't think we showed enough to win tonight but I didn't think Peterborough were that great if i'm being honest. They pressed well and we sat very deep especially in the second half. That was probably why the game seemed a bit lifeless at times.

Peacock and Paynter were poor tonight. Their first touches and passes were bog standard for them. I was very impressed with JPM. Probably our hardest working player tonight and my pick for MOTM. Maybe the OG (which he couldn't really help) spurred him on a little? He did look handu before that though. Back 4 was a lot more solid and Cox was OK abelt not amazing.

Thought we were going to nick it at the end but what can you do about a wonder goal? Typical of us at the moment really. Still, 2-2 for my prediction on Saturday me thinks.
