It seems to freeze randomly.

Sounds to me like the memory has probably unseated itself or got dusty Steve, either that or the processor is overheating and casuing lock ups, make sure its not too hot, if it carries on I will pop over next week and have a look for ya mate.

If it's not doing it with other programs I reckon it's firefox.

Download the latest version and do an install. If that doesn't fix it I think setting up a new profile within firefox will. You'll have to migrate your user profile but that's easy.
