i thinnk he was just trying to wipe his sweat, like a mum would do you knw?

oh dear

It was probably mostly Hatton's sweat. He spent a fair amount of time underneath his armpit.

He'll probably spend it on hookers and a white chapel wedding.

What a horrible fight, and how annoying were the BSkyB commentators?

Paulie's corner made the right decision to throw in the towel, he was miles behind, eating punches, and had 0% chance of landing a knock-out blow. Another 5 minutes of punishment could have seen him badly hurt.

Who's next for Hatton? Whoever it is, it should be at Junior Welterweight. I think he should attempt to unify the division, starting with Timothy Bradley, the man who beat Witter. Manny Pacquiao is another option, though as with Bradley, not that well known over here outside of boxing circles, so is the money there? I see no point in going after De La Hoya who, although innactive and knocking on a bit, will be too big and too classy.

i dont think hatton will fight at junior welterweight again, he will get battered by De La Hoya next year and will retire

quality performance from hatton but what a shit finish.

he'll fight the winner of DLH and MP at Wembley and retire. i wouldnt both going after bradley either because, although class against Witter, he is far inferior to Malignaggi let alone hatton and at his age i dont think there's any point going backwards.

Can't wait for Pacquiao though, i did a case study on him in my first year and i'd love it if he beats golden boy.
