"bollocks" with respect?That's novel!
It was meant tongue in cheek. Should have used a smiley

I appreciate that you were there and I wasn't but conceding 8 free kicks in the last 5 minutes when we are notoriously bad at defending set pieces is a bit undisciplined and conceding with the last kick of the game  regardless of how much pressure you've been under  must still feel like 2 points dropped surely?
Feels like 2 points dropped, of course it does at the time, but definitiely a point gained. The "bollocks" bit was in refernce to indiscipline. Stroud is a swivel-eyed loon and one of the best arguments I've seen for drugs tests on refs as well as players. He was giving things against both sides no-one else could see. We put Radio Brizzle on on the way home and Wovers fans were ringing in complaining about him as well.

and against the swivel-eyed "short man syndrome" ref

As soon as it was mentioned on the radio it was Stroud I knew shit decisions were coming. I never remember a referees name unless he's had stinkers in the past.

I think we will come good performance and result wise if the attitude is right. And it is nice to hear it has been the last two games.

Quite, we got a programme on way in, saw Stroud was ref and I said to the bro-in-law "Shall we just go back to the car now then?"

Ref was awful.

Gave us a goal kick after Smith had blatently turned it round the post.

Could have given anything today at any stage. I think he started off a complete homer, but through a mix of outrage and obsenities we managed to get a few decisions out of him.

Shit ref.

That's very harsh. He made a reasonable point, drew a reasonable conclusion from the bald facts which is about all you can tell from the radio. He couldn't have been expected to take into account what a nutter the ref was - you really did need to see it to believe it!

We battled well but I think we played alot better last week tbh as we spent the last half hour camped in our last third. We used up a seasons worth of luck in that second half as some of the stuff they missed was unbelievable and I thought for once it was going to our day but alas it wasn't to be.

One thing I will say and I know it's mentioned in the Joyce thread, but I hope to god the new manager restricts the players comments in the press as Morrison should never have said what he did yesterday as it was always going to see Lambert score.

Stroud was a fucking wanker and I was seething most of the game. I always try stay sympathetic to the ref as I know its a fucking hard job out there, but he got so many elementary decisions wrong it was infuriating! Really ruined the game for me.

Very impressed though with our speed of thought for the second goal though, the quick free-kick, excellent delivery, perfect knock down and cool finish were very pleasing to watch.

Good result in hindsight, three points from the last three league games and SEVEN goals, yes seven goals and not one win.
We have a problem Houston and it aint upfront.
