Not sure really. With Williams seemingly in a bit of trouble (although he could be guilty of nothing!) Byrne will have to bring in some coaches and backroom staff. If he doesn't have the contacts I'm not sure Fitton will appoint.

Byrne should have been given to the job till the end of the season before Malpas was appointed. It would've been a win win situation. If he was rubbish we could have got rid easily, if he proved to be a genius etc etc

Yes I don't dispute that, but he has most of his experience at Plymouth academy. Will he have the contacts? My gut feeling is he'll turn to the likes of Sturrock. We need to get away from his cast offs imo.

 the Joyce debacle could go either way for him-you could say it was a horrendous mistake to pick him but you could say at least he had the courage to admit it was wrong early on
