I hope JPC is talking rubbish. Joyce would be a waste of time.... we've already got one youngster who's going to get ruined (Morrisson) after his gobshite comments in the press, I half-hope Lambert gets a hatful to teach the silly boy to keep schtum.

I have no problem with Joyce starting. I wouldn't be surprised if it is him and Barry up top

I hope he starts. You hear people moaning (people like myself in fact) about the fact that the kids never seem to get a fair chance at Swindon so let's get him in there and see what he can do. These young lads have to start somewhere.

Those were pretty silly comments from Morrison though Roll Eyes

Joyce to replace Cox when he goes in January has to be the plan, so he needs some games to see if this is viable.

On the limited evidence I've seen Joyce does look a finisher.  If we could make some money on Cox, then it would be handy if it went on a bit of strengthening elsewhere.

PS by make some money, I mean not the whole pot going into debt reduction.

Hahaha this is the most correct I've ever been I think.

Whoops. I hope your foot's alright Seano, must be stuck in your mouth!

Sean played well today. Nice to see Town fans gloating at feeling they've "got one over" one of our most promising young prospects Roll Eyes

I'm more than sure we'd bring someone in if that scenario occurred.

Not at all... one just hopes he's learnt a valuable lesson, I doubt Lambert and Rovers would've needed any motivation but that's what you call handing it to them on a plate.

Not quite sure he's as good as people make out, he's playing (and thus part of) one of our worst defenses in memory.

He is, but at 17 you can hardly blame him for that. Point the finger at the senior pros who aren't stepping up to the plate which means a 17 year old kid is able to keep them out of the team.

He's a big lad who can win the ball, comfortable with the ball at his feet, is no slow coach and has also got a decent throw on him. Still has loads to learn but he's only 17. That's extremely young for a first team player, especially for a defender.

Sure, he loses concentration now and again, but Ifil's been doing that for years. The fact he's kept Ifil out of the team is testament to his ability.
