Do you reckon they still look like this?:

Piracy is a massive problem off the coast of somalia and around the phillipines and Papa New Guinea, it costs shipping companies millions each year.

Big problem for cinema companies too.  And the DVD industry.

Actually it was be a good sketch in some comedy show for people dressed like pirates trying to get into cinemas with recording equipment.  Or stood on market stalls trying to flog dvds.

You wouldn't steal a handbag. You wouldn't steal a car. You wouldn't steal a baby. You wouldn't shoot a policeman. And then steal his helmet. You wouldn't go to the toilet in his helmet. And then send it to the policeman's grieving widow. And then steal it again! Downloading films is stealing. If you do it, you will face the consequences.

The stereotypical accent, well that's obviously Bristolian. Edward Teach, aka Blackbeard, was a Bristolian (I think).

Is Papa New Guinea the Fatherland?
