I really didn't expect anyone to argue with my opening statement, even though it may of sounded a little terse or unsympathetic.
As a proffesional driver, I see many accidents.  Some serious, some not and my sympathy go to the victims of say, hit and run drivers, drunk/druggd up drivers and the plain bad drivers.  The police, fireman and ambulancemen who clean the carnage up, also get my sympathy but if you run from the police and die?  Bad luck, lets move on.

Good post

I ran from the police once. I fell over and cut my knee. I think the thing about your original post that gives it an edge of insensitivity is your disregard for the passengers in the car. I don't know what happened in this case, for all I know they were egging him on to do a runner. But maybe they were innocent in all this. So no it's not 'good' at all

My thoughts are with the traffic light, it must have an enormous sense of guilt right now.

That's interesting.
I measure the man by the company he keeps.  Those of us that get into cars with ne'er do wells, fall by the way side.  Those that get into cars with people they don't know likewise.  Especially in this day and age.
I'll go further now my bloods up,
Carry a knife? expect to die painfully, if you're lucky, quickly.  If you are made a widow by foolish or illegal actions, you wont get any sympathy from me.
You chose your life partner.  Bad luck.

Same with speeding tickets, parking on double yellow lines or a bit of drunk and disorderly. Deserve death.

That all sounds like a clue from 321. Is it a hostess trolley?

Hmm.  Cheesey 70s quiz show.  I can live with that, even if I didn't understand it.
