Both a nightmare, havent decided which one I will go to yet.  Montpelier is closer by a long way and you also avoid all rovers main pubs which you will want to do

Can't remember which one we got off at the other year but it was the one with all the main Rovers Pubs on. Hmmm...

It's about the same - Filton Abbey Wood is 2 miles, Montpelier is 1.8 miles - but the latter is uphill all the way there.

I'd argue if you avoid Gloucester Rd and go the back way from Montpelier it's the much quieter route - avoid all the Gasheads etc.

When Wovers were at Eastvile, it used to be Stapleton Road.

Now known locally as Crackhead Alley and recently announced as the most dangerous road in Britain...in terms of crime figures.  So I'd give that a miss if I were you.

I'd be tempted to go to Montpelier, mostly because I know how to get to the ground from there.

We did Montpelier last time, bit of a walk but found a nice pub on the main road on the way.

I think it could be done up to make it a bit more comfortable than the accommodation for illegals....illegals would turn their nose up at some of teh First GW I've been on.
