Just in case that my laughter was taken the wrong way earlier, i was laughing at you larwood not your other half Smiley

from what i have gathered from people inside the club they are furious about the behaviour of the stewards towards our fans, the exact phrase was similar to the man u fans in the stadium of light in portugal a few seasons ago.

Hope he is ok and gets home safe.

Chicken, you've just read that Mr. Larwood is a nutter or a wannabe nutter and you're shitting yourself in case he comes looking for you! Cheesy Cheesy

Sorry to hear about the arest Larwood, not uncommon though at away games, I've had the pleasure of being chucked out on more than a couple of occasions when I did absolutely nothing but defend myself and also detained once by the cops for knocking a guy down who was throwing punches at my head. They released me without charge a couple of hours later after watching the vid.

It's easy to say it's not their (The fans) fault.

Just as it's easy to say it is.

Didn't really see what kicked it all off, but let's not pretend the police and stewards waded in for no reason. People may have got caught up in it by accident, then again the supporters may have overeacted as much as the authorities did.

From what I saw it was a total over reaction by the stewards, who I thought were looking for trouble and the police, person to blame imo is Murphy, I hope he gets charged, incidentally great performance by Town.

Thoroughly enjoyed my day out yesterday Smiley

Great performance from the team. I think we've definitely turned the corner, Leicester will be the acid test.

From what I remember, it kicked off like this: Murphy was time wasting so some Swindon fans were giving him some stick. Stewards pick one bloke out for obviously saying something a bit naughty, then 30ish fans rushed forwards. A couple went over to Murphy to give him some mouth and two stewards legged it in from the other end of the stand and literally grabbed one (probably innocent) bloke and dragged him out. Cue mayhem. Swindon fans got a bit argy but were pushing people around at worst then stewards come flying in with their fists as do the police - some with batons drawn.

I don't condone what the Swindon fans did, but the stewards and police certainly didn't help the situation.

Sounds a bit like when it kicked off at Walsall last season

Their goalie Murphy was a disgrace and I hope he gets what's coming to him - mouthy arrogant git.  The police said he is being reported.  If enough people complain then hopefully he will be really in the shit.

Probably shouldn't dish it out if you can't take a bit back, I quite like any sportsman who abuses his/her abusers.

Sounds like Walsall away.

Just seen highlights on Virgin.  Lovely second goal from Cox, looks like gamble to play Macca away worked as he was involved in some decent build up play for 2 of the goals.

I might be a little harsh here but for their second goal I would question the keeper, to be beaten near post is a bit annoying, but that's only if I'm being really picky.

Looked like a decent day away.
