They may well be hypnotised going into the match, maybe they don't actually remember any of the match at all.

7 points out of the last 3 is a bloody good return against any sides, but with Oldham and Scunny in there, that's fantastic. I hope those who'd been pointing out our previous bad run was relegation form will acknowledge the last couple of weeks has been promotion form. And no, I don't think either is likely.

TBF Paul, having dug ourselves into a deep hole, we needed something like this, our current form is staying up form and no more. We're still only 3 points away from the drop zone, so still plenty to do.

Histon has all the makings of a nightmare.....Leicester should be fun.

Just sit back and have a nice evening Reg.

No sane soul is thinking a glorious turnaround is happening... are they?!?

It's just good to see the results not going against us.

I quite agree, but we have to temper euphoroia with a bit of reality.

I'm thinking Coxy is the first player since Bill Stephens in 46/47 to score 2 away league hat tricks in the same season, although I haven't checked it.
Dennis (Bullets) Brown scored 2 in successive seasons, which is rare enough....his 4 at Bormuff, a fond memory as I was there. We sold him soon after...

STFC Dave spent 150 notes on a cab from Bath to Bristol, apart from that no.

Brilliant..Cox is the biz...but for those saying about his hat tricks and the defence letting him down

Missed Pen probably cost us and Cheltenham away he missed a hatfull...not knocking him just saying it works both ways, the defence still looks shaky but its starting to look good, lots of praise for MM,the jury is still out about him but that was a great result today.
As for Leicester i cant wait...lets hope our fox bangs in another hat trick.

Just got back....

What a fucking game! Fantastic for Cox to get his second hat trick in under a monthj. Our fans were quality today. even when we weren't down they kept singing COME ON SWINDON..... I see the pessimists have decided to fuck off from away games. GOOD .

Phil Smith was simply fantastic today, kept us in the game with his shot saving. The real Phil Smith has returned?

SWINDON FANS V STEWARDS AND COPPERS.... well as some mentioned it kicked off in the away end. What happened was Joe Murphy the Scunthorpe keeper had some words with the Swindon fans who then went up to him and a load of stewards and coppers who were extremely heavy handed took some bloke out and it kicked off with punches etc flying but I believe only 2 people got thrown out. The stewards are twats. The police said after the game they were reporting Murphy to the club to report to The FA.

Anyway 3 points and pints for £1.65 you can't go wrong! UP THE TOWN!

Video of Simon Cox Penalty to come....

Sadly Gazza you only get 1 point for a draw, even when away to the league leaders. Smiley

Glad you enjoyed it. It sounded a cracker from the radio. I think the negativity has lifted now we have started to play well. I think largely the same people are going but can now see the effort being put in so are supporting the team. And rightly so, long may it continue.
