They should make a version of FM where you just sit back and watch it win every game for you. That would be the aceness.

it's a tactic which was built into a game which i adapted and i'm sure others will do the same. i don't call that cheating

I managed to create a fairly decent tactic, then spent about 10 games tinkering with it and it's gone downhill.
I don't think my players are good enough to give too many individual instructions to. I suppose that's realistic for league one.

The mighty TSG 1899 Hoffenheim are doing me proud. Couple of decent signings, and a weird 442 with the right sided midfielder actually in the AMR role (looks lop-sided) has seen me stick around 3rd for half the season, suffering only 2 defeats thus far.

This is doing my head in now.
I started of blindingly with a 442 formation, but now I am doing utter shite and can't seem to find a formation that suits my squad.
I might set up a second game with the 'sugar daddy' option to relive my fustration.

Try Magics 442 formation, I have tested it for 6 games with only 1 defeat and 5 wins, but I am tinkering around with it as we speak to accomodate 3 centre backs and 5 accross midfield.

I'll give it a whirl, thanx JJ & magic. And JPC, do you think that 'real life' managers never ask each other for advice?
