for some reason about 3 games into pre-season of the second season, the game cuts out.
I swear that used to happen to me in one of the old Champ manager games many, many moons ago. |

so far the game has run flawlessly for me. no injuries which concern me etc and the 3D view is ace.
Currently 30 odd games into the first season and am in the top 5 (from memory).
Will post a few screenies up later to show my team etc

I did read somewhere the using some cracked versions the game would freeze at the start of the second season.

Yet I replaced all my backroom staff with 10 coaches (using the assistant manager flaw)
whats the flaw? does it still work on a patched up version? i didn't see the point of having coaches who worked only with the youth team, so gave them contracts which allowed them to train all players. |

The flaw for the Assistant manager works with the 9.1.0 patch fine.
I employ 1 coach per training position and dont bother with youth coaches at all, or at most just 1.
When you sign a coach...or using the existing coaches.....offer them a new contract as assistant manager, they usually accept on the same wages or just a little more.....if they dont accept then get rid of them, any new coach employed will accept the role as assistant.
Offer them all jobs as assistant (once they have signed as a coach) then search for a new coach and they will accept...but only when the coach accepts the new job offer of being an assistant...if that makes sense!
When you have a coach/assistant employed in every role offer them all new contracts as coaches again and voila....a whole compliment of as many coaches as you want...easy peasy....
And for the training stats heres a guide....
Strength: 18 Fitness
Aerobic: 18 Fitness
Goalkeeping: 18 Goalkeeping

I've only got the PSP Version at the moment. Starting with Swindon, I got us to the Play Off Final first season (Lost to Oldham, damn) and then won the League second season. Just starting my third season now.
Rather excellently, I managed to sign Michael Owen (!) Jimmy Bullard and Ryan Taylor on bosmans at the end of season one. Owen alone was being paid more than my wage budget but it went through anyway.

how can you sign Owen on more than what your wage budget is?!
the minute i go near my wage budget it limits what i can afford to key players being offered approx £500pw.
