Of course Nicho was a better left back than Duke, mainly because Nicholas is actually a left back.
Duke had his best games on the wing or at a push wing back.
Sammy Igoe was awful on the right wing for ages, every week I wished Kingy would give Duke a go out there. I also think he had the best delivery yet never took the corners.

my two abiding memories of duke are very polarised
the play-off semi-final at home to brighton when he played a blinder in central midfield until he picked up an injury early in the second half
the home game against torquay in his final season where he had a shocker which culminated in him letting akinfatwa get past him to score the equaliser. he was booed, taken off and booed some more

... Knight's punishment was a eventual downfall to the Conference National. ... Duke's was a transfer to Darlington but going onto become the North Easts "faster texter in the North East" (see Th_nk profile) Sunrise, sunset

He couldnt even get a start for Durham City last night. Hes only 29!!!!
This just about sums up David Duke's career.

But hasn't been playing football for a good while - he didn't join anyone after leaving Darlington.
