I put it in Route Finder and it was 3 1/2 hours from Swindon. So it's probably 3 hours or less.

On a good day it will take about 2 and a half hours to get to cambridge from swindon.

The only thing is, if there's an accident on the m25 then you're fooked.

I'll be gentle.

It's quite simple. I play shite music (loud so no one can sleep.) I don't stop (Unless I need a piss) I don't let people smoke (But you can drink) I take the petrol money when we get there (So you're stranded if you don't pay up) and that's about it...

I have nothing to base this on, having only met Hertha twice, but I reckon he'd have good taste in music...guitar stuff, mid to late 70s, that sort of thing. Band

Nooooooo, avoid the M25, its much further and definitely no quicker. I used to live in St Neots (20 miles west of Cambridge) and I regularly did St Neots to Lyneham (or Chippenham) using the A420/A34/M40/A45 (Northampton) then cross country through Rushden. Normally about 2 hours 15 minutes.

Alternatively go up through Bicester/Buckingham/MK/Bedford but IMO the road isn't as good.

I go the MK/Buckingham/Bicester route to every Swindon game and whilst the road isn't that good, i generally do it in 1 hour 40. Cambridge is about 30 minutes from here, and whilst i don't exactly know where Histon is, it's only a few miles from Cambridge.

Don't do the motorways, cross country is quicker.
