The only place to have Christmas for me is England. I love it, all the family round the table for lunch, all pissed .... cant wait.

Yes, wasn't the same for me. There again it was only the two of us, I suppose if all the family are there it would be different.

Last year I spent Christmas alone in a shared house in Durham, it was a depressing write off!
This year me and my flatmate are planning a Lebowski Christmas which will bascially involve drinking white Russians in our dressing gowns. Should be an improvement!

Just me and my mum this year, and she's buggering off to do some volunteering stuff for half the day. Lonely Ben.
The whole build up tends to depress me a bit, although when it actually comes I sometimes get caught up in the fun. To be honest even if I don't get all christmasy then I quite enjoy wallowing in my lack of spirit.

I got my [plastic] Christmas tree a few weeks ago First Christmas in our own place for me and my bird[as Mex likes to refer to my other half ]. Normally the sight of selection boxes and wrapping paper in October annoys me but i feel different about it this year.

Bollocks, Christmas should be confined to the month of December. Not before. Never. Ever.

Agreed pumbaa.
And I'll be at my mum's eating too much and getting steadily pissed. Then football on boxing day. It's the way things should be.
