You dreamer I would have thought Swindon is a definite step up from Wycombe. No. 2 at Portsmouth, he could be in that position for another five years with Harry in charge. It is one of best rumours I've heard for a while.

We have a winner. Though he lives in Coates not Ciren. Yep ... he walked past me in Ciren town centre a few weeks back ... I think that must mean he's taking over at the Corinium Stadium.

Adams lives locally, stated the last time he has no interest in the job, when visiting a local school. It's worth noting that Steve Clarke went from 600K a year to 400K a year moving as no 2 at Chelsea to West Ham....Pompey got to pay at least 250-300K.

True, saw him in the Wheatshief once while waiting for he rest of the team to turn up one Saturday. I think he got pised off with everyone staring at him and left. Ok that wasn't a good story. Other famous Ciren & District alumni: - Wee Willie Carson - Rick Astley - Liz Hurley - Kirsty Young, Channel 5 Newsreader (Barnsely apparently). The last three I'm pretty sure has had no contact with STFC.

Anybody who thinks that an alleged spotting of Tony Adams at the station and connects that with a possible vacancy in the future with STFC must be one hell of a day dreamer. With Pompey flying out to Portugal yesterday somebody was either mistaken or Mr Adams was on his way to join up with the team he coaches! Remember how in the dark old days of Andy King we would regularly get reports about players drinking habits on a day before a game, and always from friends of station-based taxi drivers!

I saw that bloke who presents Grand Designs on Channel 4 at Swindon station - Kevin something. The only logical conclusion is that he must be about to rebuild the County Ground as a designer, eco-friendly all-wooden structure with log-burning heating for all the seats and coffee made from roof-gathered rain water at half time.
It was either that or he was getting on a train. With the ticket he was buying.

I was at Swindon train station around 2 pm yesterday, and I will neither confirm or deny any speculation of me joining STFC.

Spotting people at train stations could be an ace new sport.
I'll probably be at the train station at some point on Monday if anybody wants to look out for me.
