Thinking on the forward front, at the beginning of the season Malpas stated we don't need forwards when all of us were praying for a forward signing. Flip me he is being proved right on that front.

As much as I love the guy, we don't need Parkin right now. Cox & Paynter have a really good partnership going and play well together and Corr provides adequate cover.

Agreed. I'd take a fully fit Parkin over Paynter player for player any day. But as you say, Paynter and Cox seem to work well. Nice finish from Billy yesterday too (two in two).

It is not forwards we need though, if we are going to get loan players in, we need a goalkeeper who doesn't flap for a start.
why not strengthen up front? alot would argue that when strong in an area is the best time to do it. i know we need other areas bolstering too,but i'd deffo get parkin in.we have nothing to lose if it's only a loan.

When Cox goes in January for £5m we could use some of that money to pay for Parkin.

Lay off. He needs that pay packet to hang out in the advance hair studio with Shane Warne.

As good as he was for us, i wouldn't come back just because he returned, if that hypothetically happened, and i hypothetically didnt turn up any more.
I really dont want to re-sign him.

Don't we play them Boxing Day as well? Twice in a row. That's a bit weird like.

Theres no way he will be fit for the 26th guaranteed injury before then, that has been his problem since he left us.
