Holloway was on Fighting Talk this morning, said he'd like to steal Linford Christie's lunchbox and ruin his wife with it. Which was a little risque for 11 15 on national radio.

Two home defeats on the trot are coming up, then it will be all over.

2 wins from 11 league games
6 defeats from 11 league games
no clean sheets
catastrophic individual errors all over the pitch
after 6 games had provided Cheltenham and Colchester their only wins
beaten by 10 men twice
couldn't win from 3-0 up, and 3-1 up with only eight minutes to go at Hartlepool

Not great reading is it? I quite like the bloke and want him to succeed but I fear the worst now.

After the misery of the past 15 years there should be a massive feel-good factor around the club and the CG should be rocking every game. Sadly I find match days souless, passionless and utterly depressing.

yeah he nearly relegated Motherwell. Badly pissed off Scott McDonald while he was there. Tuesday is now a must win game against Northampton.

It's not really a must win game, more a must not lose game.

We've now got an idea of what this season is about, an avoiding relegation battle.

With this in mind, we've got to stop the rot at home, and at least picking up a point would do that.

Last season, we had a a mid table side, but we've lost a few players, Minge, Boob, Roberts and haven't exactly replaced them with anything better.

Fitton would be entirely justified in thinking a change of manager is necessary to conduct this battle...it will be interesting to see how he reacts.

Northampton had a convincing 3 - 0 win against Yeovil today. They look pretty solid with 4 wins 4 draws
and 3 defeats so far.

Akinfenwa from a set piece, just like last season?

because there is no way in hell we could have a new manager in by tuesday.
Would it make any difference if we had a manager or not by Tuesday, Fitton has got to see Malpas is not the option.
Get rid now, in fact make the fucker walk home.

Cobblers away form is nothing special.....they are the sort of team you want for a mid week outing...

because if we got rid of him right this second Byrne and or Williams would be the caretaker managers and everyone would bitch and moan about that to.

I still think we have a mid table side, one capable of avoiding the relegation scrap.

I hope the people coming back say our performance was as good as the radio made out. Because at the moment my above statement looks laughable.

It reads as if we're making excuses for Malpas to stay because of the upcoming fixtures.

Fitton has to consider, is it worth risking another match? There's always someone who can take the reigns.

Stop defending this prat DV ... he cant motivate the team so what is his purpose for sticking around, ask the kit cleaner to pick the team its not hard, it makes no difference Malpas being there on Tuesday.
