I have not spoken out forcefully against Malpas, but that looks a pretty strange team to me.  A defeat today means the knives will be out big time - so I agree with you Tans, this could be a suicide mission for MM.

You're right. There is no chance of Simon Cox scoring a goal at all.

How many games has he gone without a goal now, too many.

So who in that team is going to provide any kind of service? We need some kind of possession to score. Can you honestly see that midfield offering any kind of meaningful contribution.

DV I can't work you out pal... you come across as staunchly pro-Malpas, are you?

Dunno, Easton, Peacock, Nalis and Timlin all started at Hartlepool and we managed to scre 3 goals.

Wouldnt be my first choice of midfield at all and it doesnt look overally creative but I'm going to give them a chance before I condem them to being rubbish and Town losing 5-0.

Game doesnt kick off for another half an hour and we're already moaning about the players performance, give them a bloody chance.

I know we haven't been performing. I know sometime a shake is needed. I know I am setting myself up big time to look stupid but.

What the fuck kind of team is that??

No, I am not.

I think its time is pretty much up and the only thing to save him now would be 6points from the next two games.

However I am all for giving the team the players and the manager a chance.

Its half 2 and we're already moaning like fuck.

I think Pook is a shit footballer - I am amazed he is even still a professional footballer let alone in our starting 11 and personally I cant see what he adds to the team at all.....having said them I'll give him a chance to prove himself. The fact he hasnt got a game yet and the manager clearly doesnt rate him might have made him work harder and improve himself.

We might (...and probably will) play shit and lose but lets wait till it actually happens first

And now we have Peacock in midfield who Malpas said couldn't cut it as a midfielder and said was a striker and Pook alongside him who Malpas said wasn't good enough and was trying to offload......what does that say about Malpas' judgement making skills on players. It more than suggests he doesn't really have a clue what he is doing and is clutching at straws. Pooks in the starting line-up despite having played zero minutes of 1st team football this season and is suddenly expected to change our fortunes.....
