I kept mine as I always collect away ticket stubs.

Not a bad idea by the club, get signing Coxy!

To be fair the club have taken their time a little announcing this but we were all told over the PA to keep our stubs on the day.

It was even on Sky Sports news.

A great gesture by the club, we shouldn't expect anything and it beats my free Carlisle hat.

Quote
HAT-TRICK hero Simon Cox may have nabbed the match ball, but the 139 Town fans who witnessed the striker's treble at Hartlepool have been given their own memento.

While Swindon may have thrown away a 3-0 lead to ultimately draw, the club have rewarded the travelling faithful for their support at Victoria Park by giving them each a Swindon Town football signed by Cox.

And Town's top scorer said it is a great idea, adding: "I got the hat-trick up at Hartlepool and it was a nice gesture on the club's part to give the fans who travelled up there a signed match ball.

"It's a long way for the fans to travel, especially on a Friday night, and most of them will have had to take the day off work to come to the game.

"They each deserve a ball for going and well played to the 139 that went."

# THE signed footballs are available for collection after the Northampton and Oldham home games next week from the Legends Lounge at the County Ground.

Fans must produce their Hartlepool ticket stub which the club will then redeem in exchange for the signed ball.

I've still got my stub from Hartlepool.

I'm going to mount my signed football in a Waterford Crystal display cabinet.

Either that, or it'll slowly deflate in my spare room, under the bed..............................
