I thought that the Adver would have learnt their lesson from previous experiences  Roll Eyes

Given some of their articles, especially those quotes from MM this week, they do like to fan the flames.

They were mental reinstating the comments in the current climate. I agree with mr mayes, fanning the flames, although i'll be surprised if the decision wasn't prompted by the club and gentle mention of "responsible use/ slander warnings.

I thought the recent comments, though passionate, were a vast improvement than those when the comments were last suspended and certainly nothing decent moderating couldn't have sorted out. I wonder instead if it's more to do with some influence from the club, though I would like think not

While the general tone may have improved, there's also been a steady drip of potentially libellous comments. They tend to get removed pretty quickly but as the Adver don't actively moderate their comments section or their forum (instead they rely on people complaining), I guess this might be one of the reasons ie they could be at risk for nominally "publishing" such comments

What you say make sense Paul, however the Adver specifically cited; "abusive and insulting contributions" as the reason for the suspension.
