Tbh Fred no I wouldn't, but Holloway's not your normal football manager is he?  The bloke's a little bit on the craxy side.

I'm not saying there's any connection between Saturday's TE visit and the job but I don't thin kyou can dismiss it because of those reasons.

There's direct quotes floating around on here somewhere, but Fitton has basically said Holloway was only there to watch a game if he was there at all and isn't being lined up.

No quotes from Holloway, just saying he strongly denied he was being lined up. No direct quotes because the adver didn't know how to use a notepad and pen when their dictaphone broke.

The presence of Ian Holloway at the County Ground on Saturday as Huddersfield came away from Wiltshire with a 3-1 win has only fuelled rumours that Malpas's tenure is close to an end.

But Holloway emphatically denied to the Advertiser that he was being lined up for the manager's hot seat, and Swindon chairman Andrew Fitton insisted that, if the ex-QPR man was at the ground, it was purely of his own accord.

"If Holloway was there then he was there to watch a football match," said Fitton. "He wasn't an invited guest and it's not relevant.

"Let me assure you, no stone is being left unturned by the board or the management team as to where the problem lies.

"These things can ultimately turn around very fast and if next week we win then things will look a lot brighter.
