The more i read and listen to the players interviews the more i am left baffled the whole lot of them appear to talk shit.

I've watched the goals again from saturday and Morrison was dead on his feet for the 1st.
No anticipation and let Dickinson,who he was marking at the corner,get accross him.

Morrison is our brightest prospect by miles course at his age hes going to make mistakes...we shouldnt have conceded that corner in the first place if i remember right....if he stays fit Morrison should be in and learning....and its the hard way at present.

Unfortunate circumstances that warrant Morrison having to play on a regular basis.Normally a young
player plays a few games here and there,before becoming a regular.

Almost every time i've seen the Town in a lower division relegation battle,we've had to play some
youngsters,i fear that history is repeating itself.

So Alan you would only have a youngster playing occasionly?...however are you going to find out if hes got what it takes,play him in the odd match,and when he makes a mistake bomb him out.
For me take Cox out of the equation and he would be the player whos done ok for us.

Leefer,i didn't say he shouldn't be playing,i said that unfortunate circumstances were dictating this.

In an ideal situation you'd blood him giving him a few games here and there,before he held his own

I think he deserves his chance to be a regular choice.

I also agree with you, if he continues to play in a losing shambles of a defence it might have lasting effect on his confidence.

Its a tough call....he could lose all confidence if he is dropped without being any worse or better than our other defenders,i would play him every match but know others feel differently and would go for experience.

Don't think that will matter the reserves are shipping in goals for fun aswell

I think it's a standard clause in all players' contracts these days that they have to talk shit/spout platitudes to the press. I imagine the PFA insist on it.

I didn't go today, went to England game instead - couldn't even be bothered to check the score until sat on the train home.  Haven't felt so non bothered about Swindon for a very long time.

I think we should all put Saturday to bed. Yes it was a gutless, piss-poor performance that would embarrass a under 7's kids team, but we can learn from it. Where we're going wrong is we're not scoring more goals than the opposition and the goals they're scoring are usually down to one of us making an uncharacteristic mistake. Most of us are making uncharacteristic mistakes every week now and it's someting we need to erase from our game. We won't be pointing the finger at anyone though, as if we do that we'll draw attention to ourselves and, let's face it, we've dropped a bollock or two as well. The fans are great, but we sometimes get a bit scared because sometimes they boo when we don't play well.
At the end of the day it's down to us, the players, to turn this around. We're confident we can.
People say you learn from your mistakes, well we must be dead clever by now, cos we've made loads of mistakes!
