I'm glad you gave us a little spoiler tonight. It would have been difficult to find tomorrow in with all the Malpas out, P.Smith is shit, Brez is better, Jack Smith isnt a left back, Kevin Amankwaah is rubbish, Ifil is stupid, Aljofree is usless, JPM is a waste of space, Nalis is slow, Timlin cant pass, Easton was well of the pace, McNamee didnt touch the ball, start Marshall, Paynter is a donkey, Cox is too arrogant, Malpas got the tactics wrong, what does adie williams actually do, byrne moves his arms too much, Malpas out, why didnt Corr play, Peacock is past it, hurry back Kanyuka, when is Vincent fit, Bring Back Parkin, not paying my second installment, Ian Holloway would be better, I'm never going again, no fight threads.....

We been through worse stuff over the last ten years. I find it funny people giving up now and not watching games.

get a grip.

Maybe people have to be a bit careful where they spend their cash in these uncertain times?  Spending that money to then feel like crap for the rest of the evening is not exactly common sense...

I've already bought the 2nd half of my season ticket but I'm finding it increasingly hard to find the motivation to go.

I certainly won't be attending the night match against Northampton.

Didn't post about the game last night as I was pretty pissed when I got in and also pissed off still.

I've been a staunch supporter of Malpas, I really wanted him to be successful as that would also mean the club was successful.

It's now clear, for whatever reason, that he can't get the best out of the players and for that reason alone he needs to go (As do the rest of the backroom staff).

I still won't boo the bloke though and will still attend the games........

That was DV's work, I said I was copying and ruling through the non applicable bits for the rest of the season.....you're right though G-G-Granville out should be on there as well.

For what it's worth, King went after 10 games in 05/06, having taken 7 points from the 1st 10 games...for King there were extenuating circumstances of having lost a number of players and then replacing them with loans.

Like MM, King had missed out on a few midfield players because of budget, so ended up with Gareth Whalley, who was well past it.  MM ended up with Nalis, who at least has something to offer and isn't on a three year contract.

In the case of King, it would have been better to stick, as it was obvious the replacement would be Reeeves or Iffy, which only increased the likelihood of relegation.

We can only assume if MM goes this week, that a proper replacement will be brought in. By my calcs it will cost something in the region of half a mill for a staff replacement job...we know AF has said he wont throw money at this, so it is entirely possible we'll get Byrne/Williams back in.  Can they keep us up?

If it's a case of Malpas, or Byrne and Williams, it isn't much of a choice.

A clean sweep is what's needed imo, get someone in with his own team who can get the players doing what they're fucking paid to do.

Everyone assumes that AF will put his hand in the Board's pocket, pull out half a mill and hey presto shiny new management team. There's no evidence of this in fact quite the opposite, we were told at the interview stage at least one priced themselves out and another didn't get the job becaus ehe wanted his own team.

So what has changed...other than we're now in a relegation dog fight.
