We lost our first 5 home games of 2000, to QPR (0-1), Palace (2-4), Grimsby (0-1), Birmingham (1-4) and Crewe (0-1). As it happens, the losing streak was broken on March 7th 2000 with a 2-0 win at home...to Huddersfield.

I found the program from the Huddersfield game on a book shelf the other day. Good times.

I have returned from clearing the vomit from my 4 month old son (he's clearly disgusted with our performance too) to find no further posts. The thread has died - along with our hopes for a result this afternoon, I assume.

i've kept quiet with the malpas bashing, but i think nows the times, he's had the summer to build the squad he wanted which is what i was willing to give him time with, see how he starts off a season, and i've seenm enough to make my judgement, in the nicest possible way, malpas out!

I can't find anything to say in his defence any more.

I count myself among those who have argued for giving him time. Unfortunately, the writing now seems to be on the wall. And it gives me no pleasure at all to say that.

Agree he needs sacking now, surely fitton isn't going to keep giving him more time, it's obvious that he needs to go it just isn't working out!
