For the young Dylan lad that sadly passed away - fair play to the club for doing this

Im not sure I like this minutes applause thing
Its right they are doing something for the lad - I just think a minutes silence is much more respectful

I know that this sounds a little insensitive but what makes this lad differnt to any other young cancer sufferer that so sadly looses their fight ?
Whilst an honourable thing to do by the club, we would be having minutes' applause every home game for supporters that pass away.
I know this sounds like I am being a bit of a cunt so I apologise in advance

I'd agree with that in all honesty, I'd also agree a minutes silence is more respectful. Surely a whip round for young cancer sufferers would be a better bet anyway?

The point with the minutes applause is you don't get a couple of knob heads ruining it for the masses. This way the lad gets a nice send off, with some prick shouting out Malpas out, or such like.
And yeah Fred you are being a bit insensitive, the little lad was only 6 come on mate a minute applause isn't asking a lot, poor little lad.

i don't see why it's dissrespectful.
i mean when someone does something good they get applauded so why not applaued his life which unfortunatly has been cut short.

Maybe the applause is at the request of the family. I didn't know the lad, but if it helps the family feel 'better' then I'm all for it.
