It is annoying that the adver seem to take post match interviews and use them for news for the rest of the week - do they not get down to the CG during the week to get proper news

If you look at the actual quotes, all he said is It was all about getting confidence for the players.
"It was a cup tie in terms of the competition we're playing in, but we were looking to win the game for confidence which seems to me to be pretty reasonable. It's the Adver who then chose to put "I can see better times ahead" as the headline even though the story bears no relation to it. They may as well have put "You can all fuck off" as the headline |
