Might explain why I read a typically banal post from Stilton on thisis, might have even been today.

It's not on. I pay more than 99p a year to be a member of the Trust, and they can't even provide a simple forum

I'd clear out the syringes and excrement before you start if I were you. I think we're discovering the limitations of having the site hosted for free - when you're hosted on the basis of goodwill, it does make it rather difficult to bellow at the providers when they screw up. Although in fairness, I think it's actually their providers who are at fault

I'd say "a sql error" (seekwal) rather than "an sql error" (esskuwell) but that's just me dear. regards Geek

Actually, if you want to get pedantic, it's not a SQL error anyway, the underlying error is a config error (password not set) as opposed to an error in the query itself. But you're right about seekwal regards Another Geek

Sorry to carry on the pedantic theme, but you shouldn't really start a sentence with a conjunction (but).

I'm sure I read somewhere that nobody gives a shit about that anymore and as a rule it's considered a bit outdated. Probably heard something on Radio4.
