A couple of weeks ago brez had a shoulder injury which meant that Mark Scott was on the bench with Phil Smith between the sticks
So if Phil Smith had of been taken out in that game guess who'd of gone in goal then.....yes you've got it now.......Mark Scott.
So now then.........where's the harm in him starting? Can always take him off at half time if he's that rubbbish.
Also i was not trying to compare our youths to that of Arsenals-merely saying perhaps they should be given a chance to SHINE!
You lot aint got nothing better to do than sit on here moaning all day! Have a good afternoon wont you!

I know everyone is going on about brez and smith in goal and yeah they have both made howlers but something has got to change between the sticks.
If Swindon wanted to they have a 3rd option and that is let the youth keeper have a game.
Mark Scott number 36, he cant play any worst than what P.smith has been of late.
If not i say bring back brez, we cant keep giving away goals like it.
Not one clean sheet yet this season, not good enough.
Scotty would not even be in the class of smith let alone brez, also you put him in and someone scores eight past him his confidence will be shattered in one go,if i was you lardy i would take notice of jpc and DV both have better knowledge of the youth's than you or me.

I think in a dire situation like that Lardy he would have come off the pitch, but when you have option a and b available you don't generally start with the third choice, especially when he's barely experienced reserve footie.

Then we would have had to play him, not because he is good enough or because he was ready because hes the next goal keeper in line.
He is third choice, doesnt mean hes good enough or ready just means after Brez and Smith hes all we've got.
Keeper is the worst position to blood a youngster because if hes shit he'll let the whole team down and probably never recover.
Im sure we remember the game Heaton got sent off and Bulman came in....!

What football qualification have you got then? Arsenal play their youths so where's the harm? This is nearly as good as your "drums the key to league success" stuff the other day. You're priceless. I take it you're not going to answer my point about the effect it would have on Brez playing the youth keeper in preference to him?

Yeah I know, i say bring back Brez i was just saying that there is a 3rd option should we need it! No you didn't, you said the youth keeper should get a game because he can't do any worse than Smith. Which implies ahead of Brez and is palpably not true. It's like saying my 6-year old should get a game because he can't do any worse than Smith, it's just stupid knee-jerk overreaction.
