They're eating the poor up there are they? Fuck, the recession's really starting to bite in the Northeast

Good to see there's a sense of humour still.

I still don't know what to think about tonight... I'm sort of in shock.

Cox's hat-trick was superb and Lee Peacock as a midfielder works.

Just got back. Speechless... Fans bickering at 2-0 up at half-time. Throw away a 3 goal lead. All is not as good as it should be.

why was our fans bickering when we was 2-0 christ what hope have we got if they bicker when we are winning.

It was a decent performance... No one had a mare. Cox's goals were great... Lee Peacock was brilliant for me.

It's simple, our defence must get the ball the fuck out when in doubt. There wasn't any difference between the two.

There was a bit of an argument between a couple of our fans at half-time which was something out of nothing... I have a feeling that a TEF member could've been involved.

I think that's about it. If we could play like that at home, we wouldn't be in this position. If we play like that for the rest of the season (keeper error aside), we'll be looking back on this period at the end of the season as a shaky start and nothing more. What worries me though is that because this feels like a defeat, it'll be further fuel to the fire for the negativity and the positives of the performance will be overshadowed by a feeling that even when we play well we can't get the result we deserve. For now, I'll focus on the positive and be reassured that after a terrible gutless display on Sunday the players have picked themselves up and shown some fight. A lot rides now on how we play Saturday.

Its taking too long to get a reaction from the players.

We only see it when things get really bad. There's no urgency, too much complacency, we can get relegated, we are not too good. We need a decent result tuesday. When Sturrock was here, he always made sure he got a reaction from a bad result.

I didnt realise there were anymore excuses to hide behind, but it seems Aljofree still managed to come up with one in the paper. Millwall was utter shit you buffoon Hasney, you needed to look lively and you were all shit. If they put the effort in then the fans wont be savage.

Let's hope it wasnt malpas related, the last thing we want is inhouse fighting breaking out over a bloody manager at games.

Cheers Rich. Result aside, glass half full or defence shakiness worrying you too much?

You cannot surrender a 3 goal lead. I'm not totally against Malpas, but I can't see this improving anytime soon... 3 points would've been so good... or even if we were 3-0 down and drew... We'll see.

In terms of feeling the players are starting to turn it round, yes, absolutely. My pointing to Saturday tho was more about how fans feel - few will take any notice of a JPT game, unless we get hammered, but we need to start performing at home in the League to get fans back behind the team again.

Come on Dell, dont be like that. We didnt deserve that tonight.

I cant believe people are actually worried about Malpas getting sacked? Of course he will, he's utter rubbish. Just support the team and lets see what happens.

Agree. Real shame we didn't win tonight but it's another point away from home. If we can sort it out at home we'll be fine but then saying that tonight's result only puts more pressure on the lads next week.
