No, due to the pitch still being partially covered in snow and allowing it time to recover before our next home game....

Its probably because with fixtures being squeezed in, they dont want the pitch cutting up, that's even if its palyable at the moment? Wouldn't be surprised to see this put back to post season if we have any more postponements

Game postponed until Weds 25th March (day after Nothampton away). http://www.swindontownfc.co.uk/page/TicketNews/0,,10341~1518915,00.htmlROBERTS GAME POSTPONED Posted on: Mon 09 Feb 2009
Swindon Town FC can confirm that the Christian Roberts testimonial fixture, scheduled for Wednesday 11th February, has been postponed.
A rearranged date of Wednesday 25th March 2009, with a 7.05pm Kick-Off has now been confirmed.
Tickets purchased for the original date remain valid for the rearranged date.
Roberts announced his retirement from the professional game in September 2008. The testimonial match, which will see a Swindon Town XI take on a star-studded Chelsea XI is also supporting Cancer Research UK.

The first comment on the news feature on the adver is a little harsh , he was no swindon legend by any means but I dont think he deserved this , you can make your point by not buying a ticket.
"jmostfc, wootton bassett says... 12:44pm Mon 9 Feb 09 should be canceled. roberts did nothing for the club and does not deserve this, only positive is some money goes to charity. hell only p**s it up the wall!"

I'm sure they'll need some good luck trying to secure the 'big' names for the re-arranged date.

The headliner for the chelski allstars will be Kerry Dixon. Shame most of the chelsea 'fans' won't know who the fuck he is...

Yup. Stick Petar Borota in goal to add continental flair.

It is the Chelsea legends team that was getting together for one last game, Zola, Wise, Poyet, Di Matteo, Hasslebank, Kharine etc so I'm sure they will still play in the re-arranged game. But he may struggle for opposition though as I'm sure Wilson will not want any of the current squad playing the night after a game and risking injury in what may be a crucial run in.

Joe Cole, and Joe Calzaghe now hoping to be there. When did Calzaghe play for Chelsea or Swindon? Maybe we can have Wise V Calzaghe instead. Fuck the testimonial

i wonder what the chances of getting an STFC legends team together are?
Digby, King, Moncur, Hazard, Calderwood, Taylor, Bobby Howe etc...
