Surely the end of the gravy train in Cornwall is nigh?

Cornish Homes (UK) Ltd are going into liquidation. The sponsor of Truro City and obviously their managing director Kevin Heaney is the bankrolling the club too.

The below report states that it won't effect Truro City. However, with the likes of Ian Stonebridge, Matt Hockley, Barry McConnell and plenty of other Non-League players who should higher up the pyramid all on the payroll, surely the bubble will now burst?

I don't think it'll burst that quickly!

Truro have been pissing on the divisions the last couple of years much to the dismay of most that lie in their path.... Not many will shed a tear when they plummet back down.

Its a dangerous tie.  Chip are in a league higher than Truro, but truro are running well top of the league and chippenham are mid table, a bad start.  They do also rely on the FA cup income as well so it is an important weekend away for CTFC.

Truro have Scott Walker, who I believe is ex-Chippenham... My dad is quite active in the world of Chippenham Town, runs the away travel, wears a CTFC tie etc etc etc I keep an eye on them but am not bothered by their form.

He very probably knows my Mum and Step dad who are directors of the club then! Just been tonight to see them against oxford city, which went to pens before chip won.

My ol' man knows them well. I interviewed Sandie at college (about 7 years ago) RE: local football when she was mayor... That only happened because my dad knew them.

Its a shame - Cornwall deserves a top footy club and looks like this dream might have died again with this news.
