An independent tribunal have found in favour of the blades in the case of Tevez,if West Ham had been deducted points Sheff Utd would have stayed up...should be an interesting few months ahead.

That would fuck West Ham up, surely! Zola will walk on false promises and the Championship will beckon.

Sheffield United won't amount to anything more than a failed play-off push this season. I think.

West Ham go to Old Trafford on the final day of the season needing to win to stay up...........low and behold they do and Tevez scores!
Tevez then signs for Manc....?

Am I right in saying that had Sheffield United beaten Wigan it wouldn't have mattered if West Ham won or not? I can't remember.

You're right. Sheffield Utd's fate was in their own hands and they fucked up.

Yeeees, whereas West Ham illegitimately tilted the balance in their own favour, rather than running the risk (as everyone else had to) of having their fate in their own hands. Nail em to the wall.

If they were Shrewsbury they would of been fined, deducted points and made to play home games at Telford!

If they'd have been Swindon they'd have been allowed to go on, win the league before being relegated 2 divisions, back up one on appeal and then down 3 for coming from a rural county.  Then the club would be given to a waiter from the local taverna to fuck up for years to come.

It still hurts.  Cunts.
