Im confused.  Im thinking of going to see my local team (Chippenham) tomorrow night against Oxford City.  Am I supposed to hate them as well?  TBH Ill probably just end up hating the ref as usual.

You should chant "Big team in Oxford, you're the only big team in Oxford".

Ok.  How many sides do they have to their ground?

just about four. the bottom end is open space betweeen the clubhouse and pitch, so although there is no stand as such, you can watch the match from that side.

i might start supporting city. came home from holiday looking forward to getting back into watching us regularly again, but saturday has made me not want to go at all.

How far below Oxford United are Oxford City?

And who would our rivals be then?

We'd have to go back to Reading yes?

OUFC are currently closer to OCFC than us, but only just. If United went down and City went up they'd be in the same division in 2009/10 which is unlikely as Oxford City are a-strugglin' too.

The sad deluded fools have a plan to get 10,000 people to buy a debenture for £1,300 to raise £13 million to buy the stadium off of Kassam in return for a season ticket for life. They are only getting 4,000 paying £15 so how do they think they are going to get 10,000 soapy tit wank

Is that for real?

Even if they do get 10,000 people to chip in, they'll then be stuck with 10,000 people getting in for free the rest of their lives. But at least the board will have the stadium to sell for personal gain?

I blame Rogan Taylor, he brought this idea to the table for Liverpool, where even there it's pie-in-the-sky... Mike Ashley challenged Newcastle fans to cough up knowing full well they wouldn't.
