All last week we had regular reports from our esteemed local press quoting BC and MM. BC was quoted as saying that he wanted to start against Leeds

Not even on the Bench !!

Either we were fed total c~~p all week or there is yet another problem. BC looked ok, laughing and joking with supporters and staff walking around the ground lunch time on Saturday. So whats going on?

Laughing and joking with supporters and staff doesn't mean your fit to play professional football though does it?  The last thing we need to do is play BC too early, he'll play when ready.  It was only one league match on Saturday not a cup semi final.

Unless Barry is actually a pretty good centre half, I'm not sure he'd have been able to help much.  Paynter and Cox have not been the problem.

Aljofree was carrying a knock so we had to put a defender on the bench apparantly,

Malpas stated on the radio before the game that Barry is not 100% fit and that he would only put him in or on the bench if he was capable of actually finishing the game.

Oh yeah I dont dispute that at all DRS as I personally think he could have put Corr in instead of Peacock, but then I guess Peacock can (despite him being unwilling) to play in midfield if the needs arose.....or he could have played without a sub keeper maybe?

Yeah-I knocked him after his woeful performance.Ifil's getting blamed for the first goal but Aljofree had an equally good chance to clear the ball first and made a pitiful error for the third

It annoyed me that people were complaining about Corr's exclusion as though they knew for a fact that he was 100% fit (not aimed at anybody here, just people I heard around the ground!). Malps would NOT have left Corr out if he was fit enough to play. Hopefully he'll be back for the Stockport game

I did start to panic when Paynter started to limp a bit in the first half

So if he's not 100% now why were we going to loan him to Bournemouth a few weeks back?

In fact, it looked to me like aljofree left it and ifil thought he was leaving it for the keeper so he left it too.

I guess he either means 100% match fit, hence lending him to Bournemouth to get fit, or he has a bit of a knock (god forbid).

He has played 90 mins for the stiffs hasn't he (though this doesn't = match fit I suppose)? If it was the former I was surprised he wasn't on the bench to be used as a different option for the last 20.
