Bizarrely I thought we weren't too bad, in general play. You just can't gift the opposition goals, which we continuosly do.

I completely agree Reg.

exactly my thoughts. ignoring the errors, it was an even game against a team that'll probably get promoted.

malpas' team selection and tactics were right - play two wingers at home in a four four two formation... you can't account for individual errors.

we just need to find out why these mistakes keep happening and put a stop to them. once we solve that, we'll be fine. not much that malpas can do when the mistakes are so elementary on the pitch.

It was never a Red but Leeds could have had 8 men today and still beat us.

It was a two footed tackle ...... Red every time, especially when its Leeds :>)

At least these blunders have been spread around a bit....maybe the players involved will have made their blooper for the  season now. Cloud 9

On that note. I though Amankwaah looked pretty good today both defending and for the most part going forward.....probably just me though.

i agree about the selections,i would have done exactly the same.3 individual errors for the goal but we never looked like winning or even getting a point.yeah we did ok sort of, but even against 10 men we were totally the lesser side.

...but...how much of that is us being crap and Leeds being good.

I agree with what you said, today we were the lesser side however personally I put that down more to do with Leeds being good and little bit of us being bad.

Of course the goals were silly stupid mistakes and are totally our fault.....but we got out played (ok by 10 men) but we got out played by a better team.

If it had been Tranmere or Stockport I'd certainly be more pissed off!
