I'd play that team too (CT's team), but have Macca on the left and Easton on the right, no matter how lop sided it may look Easton does a good enough job out there, and wades in going forward.  Marshall to be brought on for impact 2nd half.

What he said, but with a slight change: "Score at least one more than them"

Agree, I just struggled to illustrate the point there.  I'd have Easton tucking in a little, somewhere between a right winger and a centre midfielder.  I dont buy this "team needs to be symmetrical with 2 old fashioned wingers either side" business.  If we are losing or its not working, then bring on Marshall for Timlin to change things,  Easton in the middle.

I'm not really sure whats going on with Timlins form, its so up and down. He was class against pompey pre season and v Tranmere, yet he's has some really poor games as well.

I get your point, but at MK one of the reasons we did nothing for the first 45 minutes was that Macca was marked out of it on the left, and there was nobody out on the right

I think Malpas will stick with the 4-3-1-2 but I have a feeling he might start with Marshall and drop McNamee...

But if we're starting games presuming that Macca is going to be ineffective then he might as well not play.

If Macca does get marked out the game then it's something you change with a substitution or a re-shuffle, I don't think we should go into games presuming it's going to happen, especially at home.

^^ What he said, but it's not as if we won't have time to change things.

I think we need Easton in the middle this game, he does a good job on the right hand side but if he isn't in the middle I can see Leeds walking through us.

We will need to get tight to them because as proven the other week their shooting from range is very good. And for that reason I can see Malpas going for the 4312 or perhaps the 442 with Easton (or perhaps JPM).

I sort of agree that we need to break it up in midfield.

Gurney and Turbo.

What are the black ones? I've never seen them.

Or is it just flashing to fast and making my eyes hurt and confused.
