Cunts. I second that, but at least it wasn't Crewe - Gillingham is fairly local...

Stoopid Ipswich!
Really want them to go up as I watched Wigan vs Preston last week and it was dire. Supposedly two of the best teams in the Championship and Mr Hewlett could have given them a run for their money!

Good stuuf, bit of a rival and some spice for next season.
Bet Townfish on the rivals board is in his element he has been winding them up for an age now.

Without wishing to labour the point, Gillingham aren't really a rival....we've played them one season in the last 25 years or so....86/87 when both sides were going well.....as were Wigan who we also knocked out of the PO's we don't consider them a rival and its probably quicker to get to. In the seasons directly after the assault on Tranter and the abuse of Cecil Green 78/79, boring games were played out in front of sparse 4000 ish gates, probably as will be the case next season, unless something unexpected happens with our side next season.

I dont consider them rivals but they do hate us that is fact.I think the fact that we haven't played them for an age will increase the fun.Plus its 2 1/2 hours on the train with only 2 changes so its an easy place to get to and I will be able to get pissed :beers

Now Yeovil will be one one to get the pulses racing.....not sure what their capacity is but, we'll certainly fill it.....given a dull season I wouldn't expect more than the usual 350 to Gillingham.

We'd struggle to put out a firm of 35 these days especially as Bormuff caused a bit of a cull this season.
