Stan Collymore was in Basic Instinct 2. Although only for a short time, so yes and no. And Cantona, but no and yes.

I haven't a clue, i suspect someone can tell. Oh and Best, so yes and yes. Sorta.

Well clearly two ex STFC legends, Mike Summerbee and Osvaldo Ardiles, exhibited not only their thespian talents but football skills as well in Escape To Victory.

This would be the only example of a club having two ex players, in a film  directed by a someone who'd also directed the likes of Bogart and Hepburn.

Was John Wark not also in escape to victory?

John Fashanu hosted gladiators? Not a movie I know but still on the box.

Yeah Johnny Wark was in there along with pretty much all of the Ipswich squad at the time as it was filmed close to their training ground I believe, I certainly remember O'Callaghan, Beattie, Wark, Osman, Sivell, Cooper and Turner....I love that film!

I'm sure I read that Wark's voice was dubbed as no-one could understand him.  Apparently the first he knew about it was a the screening, and he was not happy.
