QPR relied heavily on that number 20 on the right hand side. They were a good side though and I can see why people are tipping them for promotion. They cut through us far too easily IMO, some players seemed scared to tackle in the first half. Nevertheless, great to see Cox and Paynter continue the scoring and also McNamee showing what he's capable of. I thought McGovern also had a good game.

Casal is not the finished article by any means, and people have been spot on in saying he's been naive. Keep in mind he was up against a very talented player last night, but the ball got to him far too often. As time goes on he will get better, no doubt in my mind about that.

I was pleased overall though, can't remember the last time a Swindon side actually played decent football, Jack Smith showed again that he is probably the most under-rated player in the squad. Funny how even on the adver forum, the anti Malpas stuff seems non existent.. Let's hope that keeps up! Heard some QPR fans after the game saying that we wouldn't look out of place in the Championship, which was nice to hear. I also took the fact they spent most of the second half timewasting (!!) as a compliment.

Onwards and upwards.

Where you sat in front of me and Ralph?

Cracking game, I thought we played well, but just lacked that little bit more.

Aljofree stop booting it forward!

Ledesma was left on his own on the right a lot, should have been man marked really. Morrison was good, and Paynter worked his ass off i thought. Macca was quality.

The pasty and Oxo were still shit mind.

Last night had a better atmosphere with the DR stand being noisier, as the team get's better the atmosphere will improve imho

Brez's main problem at the moment is communication - him and the defence at times were on different wave lengths, and what about last night where the ball squeezed in past him at the far post and the cross he came out for that he should have caught but ended up in no mans land.....

Felt a bit sorry for casal as it all stemmed from morrison really, Aljofree was too concerned with helping him out leaving casal to get dragged in to cover aljofree's man and also the task of playing against possibly the best right winger he will come up against this season.

Embarrassing...I'm so glad you never recommended him to MM, having spotted his awesomeness.

My season ticket is for the town end. No way would I sit in that horrible morgue of a stand for the whole season.

I must say I was worried when Aljofree went down injured. He is one player that only goes down when he is hurt.

Which just happens to be about 4 times a game

Dowies comments are a bit far off the mark. he reckons he counted 12 clear cut chances in the first half.No where near that amount.

Agreed, they did open the defence up alot, but not really clear cut chances, thaught our dissalowed goal must have been a close call to.

In the first half we had just as many good chances. offside was a good couple of yards
